The events was over whelming, many teams participated especially from school kids. There were from Bentong, Ipoh, Kedah. Bentong school itself sent 50+ teams to join the events. But unfortunately the organiser was so kedekut, did not provide any cash prize for them even thought they ran the same distance and they have to wait longer as they were started at last category. At least should provide them cash prize RM300, RM200 and RM100 to encourge and motivate them to continue running.
The starting was a bit kelam kabut. The men open started first followed by mixed teams. Then the rest of the categories have to wait until most of the teams came back then only able to start. This maybe was due to lack of batons and also to avoid the massed in recording the timing if all the categories start together.
The route is under 3km. Initially the starting point was inside the car park Gate C, but was moved to outside near the pintu. The road was narrow and many cars move in and out, especially the yellow ambulance.
The prize presentation suppose to start at 9.30am but was delay to 10.30am due to extra time needed to finalise the winners. Overall it was a great event, hopefully next year they will organise it again.
