Walk For Mental Health 2010

MINDA Malaysia, a non-governmental body representing Mental Health Family Support groups in various states in the country, is holding a nation-wide Big Walk in conjunction with World Mental Health Day in October 2010. The event will be held simultaneously in all MINDA Malaysia member states and organized jointly with the respective m...ember state Mental Health Associations.

The objectives of this nation-wide Big Walk are primarily to:- create better public awareness on mental health and mental disorders,- destigmatise ‘MENTAL ILLNESS’ by fostering positive and supportive public attitudes towards mental health and the mentally ill,- fund raising
