BSN Putrajaya Night Marathon 2013 - Top 20 Results

The BSN PNM 2013 was graced by fantastic weather this year. For the last few years, it has been a know fact that running around Putrajaya in the evening means heat and humidity. So for this year, most of the runners happily welcomed the mild drizzle at the beginning of the race (especially the marathoners).

The route is similar as previous year, consiting of long stretch of quiet highways with lots of rolling hills although it Some of the roads are not as lonely as previous years, with heavier traffic and there was even some kind of car club (if not mistaken, it's Proton Saga) congregating a long the roadside.

The BSN Putrajaya Night Marathon has always been one of the favorite among the runners in Malaysia and is considered one of the top quality event in Malaysia. The entry fees charged are not over-exorbitant therefore is affordable by the mass, no shortage of running mementos and achievable prizes. And more importantly support was fantastic, with plenty of aid stations along the way (almost one every 3km).

With the KOTR 2013 happening the next morning, some of the crowd left quite early. However, it is also true that there were more guests from the neighbouring countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and even Hong Kong that joined in the race for the same reason.

Overall, it was a great event and will definitely look forward to BSN PNM 2014!
