MUDS 1 @ UPNM, 24th July 2010, Sg. Besi - Blessed with fantastic racing weather, the slightly overcast sky gave way to a great start for the Malakoff University Duathlon Series part 1 in the National Defense University of Malaysia within the Sg. Besi army base. The race saw just over 200 people racing in the 3.9km run - 13.8km bike - 3.9km race course in Individual and Team categories. With the large turn out from Universities racing in both the Men's & Women's University category as well as Men's and Mixed Team category, Malakoff and Powerbar met their goals in encouraging more students to take part in multi-sport events. The largest contingent of course came from the National Defense University of Malaysia, who aims to send the same contingent to race in the following two MUDS races in Universiti Malaya (31st July) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (7th August).More results here
