Althought it was only 10 ringgit charity run but attracted around 350+ participatns only, maybe it was due to the limited medals. The race started at 8:15am as the organiser needed to wait for the students came from Melaka branch.
The route was hilly but it did not affect the elite runners timing, men open champion came back in 39+ min for 10km and men veteran champion came back in 25+ min for 7km.
The event was well organised with the help from SAAA. There were many food and game stores. Coupon was for sales to purchase the food and games. The only delay was the prize presentation which was scheduled at 11:30am. While waiting for the minister to arrive and give away the prizes, many events were arrange to entertain the audiens, i.e singing, Tai Chi, Takwando, cheerleading etc. Resulted many winners have to go off first and sent representative to receive the torphy and prizes.
