"It has come to our attention from sources, including media reports, that an event may take place in Kuala Lumpur during the same time as OCBC Cycle Malaysia that could affect the smooth running of our event and compromise the safety of our participants. With this in mind, we have decided to postpone OCBC Cycle Malaysia 2013 by a week to 18-20 January 2013.
This decision has been reached after close consultation with the relevant authorities and represents the collective conclusion of all parties involved.
We recognise that a new date may impact the participation of several cyclists. As such, we will provide details of a refund process if any participant is unable to ride on the new dates.
