Distance: 7km and 12km
The Bomba Run or World Firefighters' Day Run has always been the annual favorite for many as the event has always been very well organized, with no frills-affordable registration fees and the attractive prizes. This year, participants seems to be lower compared to previous years due to many other races happening in the same weekend throughout the country.
Runners race along a 10.89km (11km for some) route around the Dataran Merdeka,Tun Ismail, Langgak Tunku, Jalan Duta, Parlimen, Dataran Merdeka loop. The hills seems to be tougher this year (maybe we have less race around these areas). Overall many agrees that it was a well-organized event, good support and prompt prize giving ceremony.
