Distance: 3km, 5km, 10km and 21km
This is the 1st Kelantan International Half marathon with 7300+ participants, where 400+ were 21km runners. The main international runners were African and Thai with minimum local elite runners. 21km started at 6:30am and weather was burning hot when runners approaching finishing line. There were many lucky draw prizes, however it took too long to draw the lucky winners, should have pre-draw in advance.
21km prize presentation was fast by Minister of Youth and Sport KJ. However the top 3 result did not show winner name and time, only category and bib number. There was also no top 10 winners listings, no checking on winner's identity and cash prize was given based on winning tag.
The route was quite flat but challenging due to hot and humid weather. There are many aspects need improvement should they wish to organize it annually.
