TIBI Run 2011 - Top 5 Official Results
Time: 7:30am
Venue: Padang Merbok
Distance: 5km and 8km (GPS 8.3km)
There were 700 runners joined in this event and surprisingly the response from junior boys and girls was unsatisfactory, less than 100. Was it due to school holiday or was it because of the registration fees RM20? As last week at Larian SAF, there were many of them and registration fees was RM5. However many fast runners joined in this event, even from Penang, N.Sembilan, Perak etc. It is a challenging double hill route.
It was a well organized event, just hope next year the flag-off is on time. The cash collection was efficient, the prize presentation is smooth and some lucky draw prizes too. Well done to the organizer and all the volunteers, wish it will be an annual event and put on more publicity to attract more runners.
