Date: 11 Sep 2011
Time: 6:30am
Venue: Stadium Sultan Sulaiman Klang
The crowd was not as many as previous year, mainly due to this event clashed with Taiping Heritage run and Saloman x-trail which happened at the same day. No surprise on the medal and trophy design. The t-shirt is nicer just hope next year the wording would be printed at the back.
The best thing of this type of community run was that many food were supplied after the run eg. nasi lemak, bread, tau fu far, pisang, water melon, ice kacang, Vico and etc, not only for runners but also for supporter. It was great that there were many lucky draw prizes were ready to be won. Hopefully next year some prizes could be pre-draw just like Centro Run, only the major prizes draw on the stage. Wish next year the MC would improve his presentation skill, crowd and atmosphere control skill.
This is the fifth year of Run for it, next year wish they would do better, improvement is necessary to attract more runners. Maybe update the route to 21km and the design of the medal and trophy need to be more creative.
