The running season will take a break from mid August for about two months before the new season starts in late October 2009. Many runners have been racing each week till the season breaks and in the process have not been engaging in activities involving their families. It is with this in mind that the Kampar Runners and RunnersMalaysia have agreed to co-organize a fun run at Kampar on 6 September 2009. It is a non competitive run with a view to promote goodwill among runners coming from Kampar and the Klang Valley. Mr Chan who is the leader of the Kampar Runners will be our local partner for this event.
This event would also allow runners to explore local tourism, savoring the interesting hawkers’ food of Kampar. As an added optional program, we have arranged for a visit to University Tuanku Abdul Rahman at Kampar for families who may be considering sending their kids there for further education.
