Distance: 7km (GPS 5.8km), 5km (GPS 4.5km)
Many races clashed on this date, KRI, Teluk Pulai, Pikom, King of Mountain, Larian Amal Muar, Nike SG, Penang 12 hours Walk, Penang Air Itam and others. As such, the organiser only able achieved 1000 runners instead of 4000 as targeted. Many were students due to high registration fees in adult categories compared to other races. As this run was open to foreigner, there were quite a number of Kenyan runners at the race. So out of top 10 winners for men open, 9 sapu by them, top 3 winner women open also won by Kenyan.
The open category was under distance. Some 5km boys junior and men veteran runners ran to wrong direction resulted that they ran extra km. Goodies and light breakfast was provided after the run. Prize presentation was smooth and efficient.
As this is charity run, all money received are allocated to charity to prepare food for those unfortunate. Volunteer are invited to Sri Garden on 16 Oct from 10am - 3pm to help to pack the food.
