INTRODUCTION
1.1
The ‘wall climbing’ or ‘rock climbing’
activity in Malaysia is no stranger among the general population in this
country and the involvement of individuals in sport climbing is increasing from
time to time. But there are still people out there who have doubt about the
sport climbing terminology, they would just imply how difficult it is to do
such activities especially when associated with the use of the word ‘Extreme
Sport’. But on the other hand, it is able to trigger positive values such as
strength, patience, perseverance, diligence and high spirit in each individual
soul.
1.2
Efforts from government in sport climbing activities can be seen by
constructing high standard artificial climbing wall in sports complexes and the
development of natural wall climbing areas were being made to help creating a
new generation of positive involvement in climbing sports. But, question asked?
: How much the climbing sports organizations in Malaysia can provide guidance
to new classes in this sport? Basically most of the recent involvement of their
interest in the sport is based on the influence of friends around them. Thus
the efforts are designed to give an approach, knowledge and experience to the
new generation in attracting the same interest.
·
